Guys, don't know if this test is bullet proof , but what's your opinion on that.
I have al ot of patchbays, outboard modules, cables etc in my studio, so I did the following test: put two identical signals on seperate tracks in my DAW.
route these out to outboard patch , into some eq's and compressors.
Dial in the same value on each of the HW.
Flip the phase on one of the signals in the DAW.
If the cancelation is 100%, does it mean that my cabling, patching and outboard is perfectly good?
