It all started for me ca. 1972. I needed to know what was going on inside my dads AR 4x speakers and took a saw to them. I was six. I always had a thing for speakers. Junior high school shop class.. Made some speakers.. High school.. Built guitar amps and speakers. Was designing and building my own solid state amps in college. In 1988 I took a job with ADS.. Doing what? Building speakers.. learned every stage of manufacturing. Became a designer and engineer. Been working for speaker companies ever since. For fun, I restore and revive old gear. Tubes, Transistors and IC's all have their place. When it comes to speakers, nothing beats old PA gear for reproducing dynamics.
