Help identifying this smd component

These type of PTCs are used as current limiters, or Resettable Fuses, not temp compensation et cetera.
If you need temp measurement there are many MUCH better devices, TMP37 and the like.
Too high current will heat up the device and increase the resistance.
There is a trip threshold for each device type. Select as needed .

I heard back from Elektron & it's one of these: Panasonic ERA-S33J182V

They're discontinued & I cant find a substitute but a few sellers on Alibaba do seem to have them so will have to try there & hope for the best!

Identify the specs and locate a sub from Littlefuse or others.
Digikey search works pretty well

Digikey seem to still carry up to 680 ohms from that exact series - 3 in series would get you pretty close, or 2x 680 + 470 = 1830 ohms. Sure, not pretty at all, but same specs at least
