You mean it matches the pin out shown in post #11 that you said you used? How did you actually have it connected?I found that the gate was actually on the rightmost pin of the JFET.

Ya, that was my fault. I thought I had tried it... atleast when I did I couldnt get any output and I was just getting around 2.4v at the drain and source with no output. My guess was that I either wired it wrong or I swapped the 6.8k resistor for a 2.2k resistor trying to get the JFET to bias, misplaced the original 6.8k resistor and had to wait to order another one.You mean it matches the pin out shown in post #11 that you said you used? I tried the gate at the middle which definitely wasn't it and I thought I had tested the gate at the right pin.... thats my mistake i elaborate on the post aboveWell how *DID* you "flip the FET" then?
