HELP with a 1960 Red Collar Reslosound mic please

I have this old Reslosound Red Collar Ribbon mic. It works but has a transformer that converts the XLR connection into an unbalanced jack. I was wondering if it's possible to convert it to XLR to be able to use it with my studio preamps?
I guess the transformer is there because the mic has a 30-50 Ohms output impedance.

So what's inside that Grampian enclosure? Probably a transformer, yes, but any way that can be opened up (without permanent damage)?

I've also managed to find this about the Grampian. Mine has suffixes /L and /H

Probably a Low 15-30 Ohms to High 50,000 Ohms, transformer,.
Even if you changed the output jack to an unbalanced XLR, your studio pre-amps will be specced for 150 Ohm mics
and so will load down the transformer and change the frewuency response.
Best to use the mic with a "lifter" device.

Other manufacturers devices exist.

That mic has two output impedence options , 30/50 ohm and hi-z using the two of the three pins on the connector and case as ground. The Grampian transformer looks like a low to high convertor , none of these will give a good match to modern gear .
