I found this looking looking for a picture of the MA1000 capsule because of something I read in the the CK12 thread

I was surprised how it is built

Handling some of the parts without gloves?
Tie-wraps to hold the transformer?
There are a few more things I would not do

A penny saved is a penny earned... Especially if you'd rather spend that on marketing (?)

I was surprised that the ASSEMBLY of the microphone was shown on youtube.

I don't have an issue with the microphone, build what sells. In the video the microphones are checked for noise.

One of the first tube microphones I built had a noise issue.
I used tweezers to install the grid resistor and was careful with handling the tube grid wire however, I must have touched the input cap and formed a conduction path because after I cleaned the cap body the noise went away.
The microphone had a 1gig grid to ground resistor

In the states powder free nitrile gloves are not hard to find at you local HF or other stores

I find that 80/20 ipa:distilled water is better at carrying away the contamination. 99% evaporates so fast and I like how the little bit of water helps the kimiwipe pick everything up.

Distilled water is good to use on caps in the high z too.

I’m no pro by any means but that’s what I’ve found.
