Hi guys, I was bit overloaded with work, sorry for abandoning etc.
All orders were sent within 7 days after receiving the payment, so, please allow some time to arrive.
We shipped at 7th, 15th and 22nd December.
Sometimes it takes 8 days to US and 5 weeks to Germany, sometimes 4 days to Germany and 6 weeks to US.
Regular registered is not fastest, but proven way, usually, not stacked at customs, but sometimes very slow.

MixBuzz1 PCB's were updated for front panel 11 steps attack/release controls. Now, easier wiring.

Ordered small batch of 33609 PCB's, by many requests; will add to store soon.

Fester's TG-1 PCB's are available too.

Albatross pre-amplifier, transformers, Class A,  with switchable output topology, EQ insert option, etc,
final revision of PCB is ready. Kits will be available very soon.

The new better looking store will be available from Jan 1st.

Thanks for the update Igor!

If I just ordered a mixbuzz a few days ago will that be the new version?

Thanks, Charles

Yes, this will be the new, 2.5 version PCB.
The only change is attack/release board is made for 11 step switches and "soft/tight", "dual" toggles.
I will upload the docs within few days.

Understand ;)
Ah yep. Forgot. Already wrote on Facebook, but in case of whatever, all the best in 2012!!!!!
BTW, you can check my FB for some of nice pictures of audio stuff done in 2011.

hi igor! :) i hope u had happy hanukah and did(nt) drink too much beer ! :D

im just here wondering about my order (2254kit+psu) been about 4 weeks still nothing. i know maybe post been a bit over with work cus of christmass and all this. i just want to know (if possible) when was the order sent. to know more or less ETA

EDIT: sorry read again this page..  i guess it was shipped the 22nd :) ill wait for it
thanks a lot!

Hi Igor,
still no sign of my order at my door,
i'm start thinking the parcel was lost.
can you check please ?

francois

Hi guys!

One very important note. From about 30-40 orders shipped at November - December, some arrived just now.

Regular registered is not fastest way. I know this is PITA. But, it is cheap and has very basic tracking,
there was only 1 lost package since 2007, and about 500-600 were delivered.

One note on tracking: it shows date when sent, than, date when package left Israel, than date when you received it.
Or, returned back, after I receive it here, and nothing more.

About 2% of packages are returned, and appears here about 3 month after they were sent,
usually the reason is wrong filled address or somebody haven't put any attention on intl registered mail notification.

Please note, we print the address directly as you fill it!!!!

If you haven't received anything within 5-6 weeks after ordering, first, check about regular registered airmail on your post office.
Maybe notification haven't arrived to your post box. Than, mail me, I will do my best to help.

Need expedited shipping within 5 business days - mail, skype, facebook.
80% of orders arriving within 2-4 weeks after ordering (we ship 4 times a month, add some time to arrive).

Need it urgent - PLEASE tell it BEFORE ordering.

Package about 500 gr is about USD22....35 depending on your location; 1kg is about usd28....48.

Ah yes. Holidays passed; have to chage the topic's name. Bugagagagaga!!!!!!

so the DC UNI-Q is the stepped sontec with total recall ?
I hope the answer is yes, if so, write me down for 2 !

He..... Yes and no.
What about up to 7 bands, level/MS, transformer/less I/O board versions,
and ability to combine say Neteq, Sontec and ISA110 than add lo/hi pass filters?
Possible to build it "pure" 5 bands Sontec with digi control as well.
All parameters are configurable, too.
For example, I got working band of VSF which can be LPF, BPF, HPF; cut up to -35, boost up to 14 db;
HP/LP can be from 4db/oct till resonant 22 db/oct; like a plugin, but analog.
Second filter I got working and even wrote all values in truth table is Sontec low band.
18...800 Hz, LP/BP.
8 steps of Q; 31 steps of gain (and "band off"); 28 frequency's.

Have to test the rest of Sontec bands; than Neteq/ISA110. Maybe, will do filter of SSL channel EQ.

The holy crap is writing down the values in truth table. Assembler and hex, aye!
For gain, it has about 150 values (input variable from rotary encoder -> 3 digits and relays output).

Now working on motherboard design. Filters will fit in 18 pin slots, like 51X; front panel will have
easy connection to motherboard.

Trying to keep everything in 2RU, simple as possible assembly; user friendly as possible interface.

Audio-wise: it comes up good. Tones of relays, aye!!!!
Previous attempt to make vari-state filter with VCA's as control element left as not cool enough.

Cost-wise, for 2 bands of stereo EQ:
32 relays plus microcontroller, LED displays and other stuff still WAY less than 2 dual, 2 single ELMA's and something less fancy for Q control.
Digital control with relays comes up aprox. $90 per 2 bands; same with ELMA's is about EUR160, no recall, less steps.
BTW, less resistors to solder, comparing to ELMA's ;)

Another benefit of relays, I can put them as close as possible to filter, no wires to front panel and better S/N, noise immunity.

Cool than...stay tuned. Will upload some new photos here:

Hello Igor,
I'd like the stereo kit 33609 that you had on your store recently. Are these hopefully available?
Cheers!

Hi guys!
The QE EQ: yes, it already has rev.1.6 PCB, just have to print them and recheck again.
Let me finish DC Uni-Q first ;)

Switches: were sent looong time ago. Answered by PM. IIRC yours were shipped to previous address. Let's see what is possible.

2254C kits: yes, possible.

Hello igor! I am just wondering i havent got my order yet.. ( sometimes it takes a while i guess but ). Its been about 6 or 7 weeks from when i placed my order and would be curious as if they got back to you or if its been misplaced somewhere ?

Btw other thing.. Will u be making some control boards for the sontecs that are stepped? Or will the uniQ will do all that? I would really like the uniQ but in a way i would love the whole sontec with just switches for matched controls if necesary.

All the best! And again thanks a lot.

Ohho. For orders tracking, please mail igor_jazz at yahoo Dot cOm or skype kapelevich.igor
I thinking about putting kinda 12 pin connector and option to cut the relays part off the pcb.
This way, motherboard remains same, just connect switches with wires to filters.
However, it is twice more work to solder resistors to switches and not cheaper even in case of China Uraltone switches.
From the other side, possible to check assembled front panel option ;)
