well, I got one question for you - how much for a set of pcbs? 
i assume they are the same for both front panel versions, just a different meter board?
Personally, I prefer the LED meter front panel - great to get a level meter with reasonably high resolution thrown in. Also, to me needle meters only look right on really old stuff like LA2A/TG/etc. Each to their own I guess!

Yes, it is same set of PCB's. Many ways to assemble, from GSSL+turbo till full-featured MixBuzz1.
Meter assembly is bit complicated, but this is IMHO the way to get right indication
of input/output and gain reduction. Resolution is 2db per segment.
Input/output metering done on THAT2252, timing can be peak or RMS.

from GSSL+Turbo till.... Well, next top secret:

Can source some tens of these caps. Possible to make standard engraving like IN
(will be instead of bypass) and TURBO or MIX. Sell? No. Can include lens caps for free with PCB's.

Missing silkscreen on PCB's? This is first proto.  
BTW, fired up from first turn-on. I was surprised, but still no errors.
Of course, PCB's will be high quality, 2Oz, with nice silkscreening, like always.
Test data, etc, coming very soon.
Have a crazy busy days now, 4-6 hours of sleeping.
