Whatever meter this project ends up using, I'm totally in! I've been waiting to this for a while and got started on it but didn't get very far.... :-[
This thing is gonna rock!

Now... where do I get a nice rack for those???  ;) ;D ;D ;)

Haw, night bird, right.

+1.

Looks like we're the same kinda sick kid Wink

Make it rock!

Oh and, thanks for linking.

Same.
My last girlfriend, even count-in case I am yoga-addicted,
runned out after  2 months of serious relations. She told me,
I spend too much time on unnecessary things like lp's, amps,
ESL's and reading classic Russian litherature books in hardware
instead of having a good time while...

One of the reasons my marriage didn't work out Wink

But she does understand me a-z thank god.

Even though, I have actually stopped being too much of a night bird.

After the Q I basically spent 3 months in bed and cooking
French. It was totally worth it, but gaaaah.

Crazy.

No more.

Yep, here it goes :)
I like to cook Russian goodies as well, even have a semi-professional oven at home.
Now finished world simplest and tasty thingy, just for reference-here is simplified schemo:

Well, it should be 160-170 degrees cels. and 35-40 min...and stir the eggs like making bize, first-white and sugar, than add the rest. After cutting the apples put them into rum (Morgan spiced is best), cinnamon
is welcome.

Back to Sifam's. I like the appearance of 19 series with bezel;
however, it is one of high priced crap meters I even saw.
They slow, made as fast food, and $60+ in Farnell. Anyway, design will be done
for 19B meter, .pdf with printable scale for 10 or 20db will be provided.

Looks good.

Are the front panel cut-out and monting holes same as Sifam 19B?

Will take a pair from you, please pm me how to order.

Sorry, the way of life make me so poor, don't have ordered this substitute and i think at time nobody have stock of this but Ptownkid could have some later as ampermeter and vu meter, i 've read on white market that Echo North could have some as vu meter too

A standard VU meter with built in rectifier won't track
Yep, the sky is blue (sometimes), thanx for this usefull info :)
Loosed elsewhere your mail address, I found the sch. you asked.

Just to clarify...I will be stocking the meters stereokillah was talking about above in both mA and true VU.

Just finalizing the scale art now.

Igor; I hope it's not inappropriate to mention this here, just wanted to clear up the info that was posted. Let me know if you'd like me to remove it.

Just a question Igor, where do you get the Sifam 19B series, Farnell seem to have only the W ones, or it's just:

This:
http://fr.farnell.com/sifam/19w0-1ma0-100/galvanometre-0-1ma/dp/1262061

With this?:
http://fr.farnell.com/sifam/19w-bezelb/cadre-frontal/dp/1262079?crosssellid=1262079&crosssell=true&in_merch=true&

Seem to be but panel cut outs are different from B to W series so....

Thanks.

Yes, I already ordered these meters and cutout is done for them.
