I like to think of my lunchbox as a swiss army knife for recording sessions, so some ideas that could be really useful:

1. Compressor. I like 1176s and would love some in 500 format, but also what about classic 525 style?
2. High quality transformer based DI/Reamp with a phase correction circuit like the LL IBP. Room for mike pre in there too? not sure.
3. Simple very high quality eq for tracking/mixing. 3 band like 550A, or even just Hi Lo shelves like a Pultec.

Just some thoughts...
