It's basically 4301 limiter, you can find the schematic from THAT website, integrating the peak detector and the led GR meter from THAT design note.

How does attack and release work for you?
Have you done them the way it's described in THAT datasheets?
I'm asking cause I've heard that attack and release on 4301 behave in a strange way...

I don't put the attack and release control, so I believe it work in auto mode.

But on the photo of the unit there are attack and release knobs so I thought it's adjustable!

The attack release on the left is for the compressor section, the limiter section is on the right side, Threshold, ratio, make up gain, and rms/peak mode.

I get it now! I was looking at compressor section on the front panel and got confused
