Hello,

Just sharing my latest project, It's an analog master console.
SSL4K comp, Sontec style EQ (fixed Q), 4305 limiter, variable hpf/lpf, etc in a single 3U box. A lot of wiring...I would not call it "masterdesk", because someone will upset  :-X

I've got some ideas for the next build, like a flip switch for COMP<=>EQ, Filter flip position, etc.

Any other idea?

Looks great! What knobs are you using on the pots?

they're 15mm anodized aluminium knobs, you can find them on  ebay

Cool!
You could call it KIT.

Klontz Integrated Toolkit...

Reminded me a bit of KNight Rider anyway....

Interesting... 4305...

THAT 4301 was discontinued, so I use 4305 with adapter board. It's the same VCA, but without opamps inside.

I do a lot of Mastering and something that I use a lot nowadays is M/S processing so I could recommend if you do another box to add Stereo or MS switchable functionality at least for the EQ

Have a great time and good builds

Great looking build Simon! Is that the DIP adapter board THAT Corp makes for the 4305? If not who makes that one and where did you get? Thanks!
Hi, thanks! I have the gerber file for the adapter board, but the 4305 was out of stock anywhere. Please rename the extension to RAR

Looks good, But the original Face with the Red knobs and the vintage looking VU looked much better in my opinion, it looked great.

What is the RCH Harmonic thing? what does it do and what circuit is it?

Also was is a "4305 limiter", is it a know circuit or you designed that circuit yourself?

Thanks,
and congratulations you've done impressive work

Thank you so much! I have...a few...4305s sitting around already, but being QSSOP they're pretty difficult to try to prototype with. I'd also be QUITE interested in your 4305 limiter circuit if you care to share the schem/etc. I've been kicking around ideas for a 4305-based guitar compressor/limiter/something and I'd be interested to see how you implemented yours.

well, just variation. Harmonic knob blend between clean and saturated signal, pretty nice but not for all.

It's basically 4301 limiter, you can find the schematic from THAT website, integrating the peak detector and the led GR meter from THAT design note.
