It is nice to see it has different colors available

I suspect this is just Rode trying to unload their remaining issue 4 NT1 stock (the 'black' one), now that issue 5 with it's new digital processing is available....

Well, before you couldn't give me an NT1, but with that improved noise spec, I just gotta have one!

(And now I can have one in the same silly colors as a BM800.)

I got 159$ for NT1 + SM6 spin + cable. The price I see over here isn't much more and usually includes a stand.

That's news to me. I've only seen the black ones.

I think it's just the NT1 5th generation WITHOUT the DSP to do 32 bit float...so they bought some paint to help move them.
