OC16

Has anyone tried the Austrian Audio OC16? I was thinking of buying one to check out the capsule.
If you check the specs at the Austrian Audio site I noticed 275ohm impedance
I did not see anything about if it is has a transformer or is transformerless

I have a pair of OC818s, which is the same capsule in a double diaphragm/multipattern mic, and they are fantastic mics. Built like a tank and the same output impedance. I would ask AA how they compare; I had to interact with them early on and the customer service was fantastic.

I’d say give it a try for sure! The studio I work out of has a pair OC818s. I use them regularly in omni on guitar cabinets, rhodes, and leslies with great results.
