I don't think these are pics of mine, just some I've downloaded over time.

I don’t understand your question.
The mk012-01 picture has an extesion wire i assume the capsule can also attach directly to the body
 
The new MK-012 mini-preamp is divided into two parts with an extesion cable. In spite of a small size of the front part (it is smaller than a standard XLR plug) it contains all sensetive components. As a result, the quality of the audio signal is never compromised through the lenght of a cable.


So it looks like a standArd body mk012. But the description indicates the jfet and hi z parts are at the capsule
