Thanks a lot, but I'm looking for a little bit not that. We really need a version with a split body, where the capsule and the microphone body are separated by a cable.

I don’t understand your question.
The mk012-01 picture has an extesion wire i assume the capsule can also attach directly to the body

Could it be anything like the Schoeps setup, perhaps? With a separate JFET head-amp in the capsule end?

The new MK-012 mini-preamp is divided into two parts with an extesion cable. In spite of a small size of the front part (it is smaller than a standard XLR plug) it contains all sensetive components. As a result, the quality of the audio signal is never compromised through the lenght of a cable.


So it looks like a standArd body mk012. But the description indicates the jfet and hi z parts are at the capsule
