OEP Z21805C Mic input transformer - anyone tried it?

Hi Guys,

I've always been curious about this mic input transformer. It looks pretty decent on the data sheet, and the price is good.

Anyone actually tried it?

I think OEP is a much under rated company. Their staff are very willing to discuss specs and provide samples and the transformers I have tested myself have always performed well.

I have wondered about them myself. This side of the pond does not have distribution. I think Canford ships to the states though.

I think OEP is a much under rated company.

Probably because they're the "low cost" solution for many DIY projects on this forum. I personally used them in a pair of 1176 and it sounds great.

I emailed OEP yesterday and received a response this morning! Good communication so far.

I just placed an order for a pair of Z21805. Should take 1-2 weeks. I will test them and report back
