"One chord is fine. Two chords are pushing it. Three chords and you're into jazz."

I remember listening to 'rock and roll animal' for the first time when I was around 15.

Having a smoke with my best girl - she put this on and it just blew my mind.
The songs, vocals and musicians were so .. amazing. I don't think I ever heard the guitars'n'bass properly till then.

I knew 'transformer' real well from very early on, but that was my first intro to the velvets' music.

Lou Reed was one of the best american songwriters of all time.

I'm glad he lived to a pretty reasonable age and did so much work in his life.

He stood in contrast to so much I disliked about the music biz back then, and maybe even more so now.

Thanks Lou for such a perfect day...
