While looking around Triode Electronics' site, I noticed that RCA RC-30 is now available as a reprint. Woo hoo!

This is RCA's last receiving tube manual, released in 1975. I guess you could call it the swan-song of one of the great tube manufacturers (how bittersweet!). It's their most complete edition and the one to have if you're having only one

You can find used originals for cheaper, probably, but it's good to know that this is available. My own original copy is falling apart...

I have this to, this is a great tube manual and application book.

Find it by chance as clearance sale for some dollars in a book store when I visit Los Angeles in 1983.

I have also two older issue of same manual from 1947 and 1954, this have also lot of applications, schematic and tube basic explanation but with older great audio tubes as 6J7, 6SJ7, 6C5, 6F7, 6K7, 6V6 .............

Try to find some of the older, you will like them, and of course the Radiotron Design Handbook (third edition from 1945) by F. Langford Smith, that was a team production between RCA and Amalgamated Wireless Valve, Australia
