Hello to everyone , i have a Rode NT2 and im using it directly with RME Babyface (Not pro or pro fs), actually sound quality is not bad but is there any options to make it better ? I saw that many people upgrading their capsules but what is the point of choosing right capsule for your needs ? My voice is bass bariton and im recording rap vocals , my voice is sibilance, i have Universal Audio Solo 610 in order should i get this or find another solution please tell me what you thinking guys thank you all

What is "better" (for you)? Knowing what you want would be a useful starting point...
i think its more like what this microphone can do ? For me its sounds bright which is cant be controlled naturally with De-esser so i need more softer highs , what Solo 610 can do this setup ? what should i add to chain

1. I want more softer high, more detailed mid / low-mids
2. RODE NT2

@micolas Hi thank you for reply , you mention that big differences between them which one is better? I thought rode nt2 was better ?

Rode NT2 old is brighter, you're right.
It has a big boost centered at 11KHZ (+8dB).
See FR in the picture.
It needs de-emphasis because it is equipped with a k67 type capsule. The capsule is good, it's probably a 797. To reach FR around 87ai, a correction like the one in the second picture must be made, (even more).
1.The microphone circuit can be modified or
2. EQ can be applied in a plugin.
What DAW do you work in?
Do you have experience in electronics?
