Brand new 19" DIY rack, hand-built, never used. They only been ON during calibration & testing.

A true replica of the original UREI / Universal Audio from 1967.
They sound amazing, lots of mojo, known from the revision A and really fast attack time.
Noise floor is much lower than the original (because of modern components vs. 1960's components).


The unit has:

• a passive (RCA) connector for stereo link (passive only, no active link board installed)

• gold plated Neutrik XLR's In/Out plugs

• The famous "all buttons down" function for ratio, with any combinations

• a "bypass" function, by turning the attack knob all the way CCW to the off position

• built-in power supply, switchable 115V / 230V

• beautiful metallic laser cut front face panel with blue stripe

I've used high quality solder and assembled them, wearing white cotton gloves, to avoid prints.
The parts was ordered from Hairball Audio, USA.
I have 2 units and they've been calibrated separately.
If you buy both units, i will give a $110/€100 discount in total.
The price includes salary for the built assembly (15hrs) plus import taxes/vat (US to EU).
I offer 30 days service as warranty.
