Hello, I'm desperately searching for a circuit diagram of this mic - anyone know where i can find one?
I have a Classic 2 that won't make a sound - the lead is fine, and there's a bit of noise when the microphone is disconnected. I need it to be working in a couple of weeks for an album recording!
Thanks a lot

I have not been inside a rode Classic 2.

From the specs I would guess a 120VDC to 200VDC B+ supply and a heater supply of about 5.8VDC to 6.3VDC.

First thing I would try is a new tube look for a GE 5star 6072a should be able to find one for about $20.00 USA (last time I looked)

check the cable!!! although my experience has to do with the older classic it´s good to check the easiest things first. i cut mine in half when i discovered there was no connection (heaters), thinking; one of the halves must work... did it again and again with no results... called the guy who does service and told him the story and he replied: sounds like a röde classic cable to me. bought a new upgraded version of the cable and everything was fine. not the best mike for th money though...

Send the mic and PSU etc back to Rode and theyll fix it for you for free. Its a service they dont advertise but they will fix any of their mics with or without warranty, free of charge. The shipping from England might be a bit though. Still if its your last option, might be worth it.
