Hi everybody
I just found an old Schoeps CMC3--pd with 12V phantom reverse polarity (plus grounded) and as i have spare mk capsules i'd like to use it on the field, i.e without any power box.
I've already mod some CMC3 to CMC5 but this one has a bit different design, more like a mix between CMC amp stage and CMMT output stage.

I've only found this picture from a CMC5 which share the same pcb and components implementation, i only spotted a few differences in the soldering points near the xlr connector (i presume it's for reversing the polarity) and in resistors values.

I'll draw a schematic and take pictures as soon as i can but if someone have some infos to share he's welcome ;)
thanks a lot!
Flavien

There were some schoeps preamps made for french television (if i remember correctly) with negative voltage operation.
I didn't found any info over the net.
