They say the stimulator will lie to you and in all my years with it, it did only twice. Today it didn't. I have been designing a seven transistor gain block (1) LSK170 B and some BJTs for about a week now and got so excited about the simulated results. I stayed up all night and most of today building it. In recent years I have become a fan of solid state mic pres with only one stage of gain, transformer coupled of course. +/-24V class A, if I had not quit drinking I would go have a drink this day! The next time I build this circuit I will go into my stash of Toshibe 2SK170 I finally found a good use for em.
