Hi! I have a valve mic T.bone SCT800. I would like to improve it by changing some capacitors. I have already changed the valve to 6072 Phillips.
I searched information in the web, but nothing definitive.
Can anyone help?
Ps. Sorry for my English.

It's never sure what these mics have inside, components seem to change over time. So it depends what's in there. I did some cap changes (and removals) for a friends SCT800 some time ago. Most of the cap swaps didn't do much or anything to the sound IIRC, but some did a little. From memory, I think removing the RF/EMI filter caps (between the transformer and the XLR) was the biggest improvement (after the tube change, I used a NOS 12AT7).  But have to check my notes to be sure.

Maybe post a picture of the innards?
