Telefunken Identification!

I’ve had these in the parts drawer for ages and they came from a job lot of bits I purchased off eBay many many moons ago. Now the lab is properly up and running and out of storage I’m keen to find out what they actually are.

I was thinking they’re perhaps valves/tubes rather than Tx’s (not weighty enough), although markings don’t indicate that, or some sort of filter. Forgive my naivety if it’s glaringly obvious!

A crystal? 960kHz sure does point into that direction. They made (military) transmitters and receivers, so this is not surprising.

CB - yes that would make sense. I did do a brief search given your suggestion, and they def did similar crystals, although the ones I saw were still 2 terminal devices. The octal pin out throws me, although perhaps an oscillator or filter that Mag and KB have also suggested. Could also be just Avery secure way of terminating a canned device.
