Well, not necessarily. I am guessing that there will be a lot of people who participated in the feeler (and are thus on the list) who may not want to purchase when the time comes around.
There were also several people who were interested in 2+ mic bodies who may not want as many.

So, I am predicting that there will be 30–60 mic bodies left after the list has been gone through.

I never took the feeler because i thought there was going to be a real list/ordering queue later on. Oh well... I hope i can get one body from you.

Ok cool. So concerning the fabrication, the headbasket will be done in china, and the body, the inside structure and the bottom in US? Or everything goes in China LOL, they are killing me, i mean there is no garanty in term of quality half of what you get could be totally crap, but the prices are insane, and could have been even less then what they asked for but they know what's it all about because of others... cool but not that cool in terms of helping your country out etc... But if the quality is good?
In a way because you're a new customer, i'm sure they will be drastic in quality to grab a business, hope it's good, but always sad to know that there was no choice for cutting prices to see things go there, i would have loved to help and participate in the making of this but, because of the prices of the metal and metal work and the need of tools ( chinese tools are pretty cheap  actually, lathe and others... LOL), well the price would have been more for sure... Thanks anyway Skylar you're the man for this project, and who knows could maybe do a small DIY Friendly business on that and i would love to help for making this happened out of China in the future, let me know if i can do something...

This is my first post, but I've been following this thread for awhile.  I own and love my Pearlman TM-1, but have never been crazy about the mic body or basket.  If it isn't too late, I'd very much like to be in on purchasing one of these mic bodies, if it is generally accepted that I will be able to transfer the guts of my TM-1 into one of these assemblies.  Thank you, Skylar!
