I‘m interested in building this compressor. I would like to use some transformers I have lying around here. Would a UTC HA 133 type transformer be ok for the signal out transformer?
I know it is designed for dc coupled single ended operation but it has a center tap and I thought maybe the gap would be beneficial because of the current imbalance of the tubes. Or does it need to be a 10W power output transformer?
