if, after I successfully complete 3 or 4 simple projects to start with > E.G > headphone amp > pre amp etc...

Would it be possible for me to build
a 3 band stereo EQ based on the Sontec range?

Yeah, i know, pipe dream!

But, basically is it technically possible to do this?
the same or similar components etc...

or would i be better off just trying the full version as on the Gyraf site?
