zero budget project

hello to everybody,

i´m quite new to this forum, i know a bit about soldering, but not too much about schematics and such;

collected some kind of "material" a couple of weeks, mostly out of garbage.
could´nt find any input transformer yet

thats what i´ve found so far :

an old dual record player (from inside)

and an old grundig tk 19 tape recorder (wheel) , no

the grundig uses 1x ef 86, 1x ef 86, 1x ecc 81 and 1x ecl 86.


and i recently got a studiomaster 16-16-2 mixer, just got a foto from the mic pre section

now i know thats all not high end stuff, but maybe its parts all together combine to something usefull.

any suggestions?

my first thought on the phono thing was to build some kind of summing amp.
it came along with a pair of loudspeakers, so the output is driven 4,5 ohm speaker, not line out...

my first try was to use as is, i took two 5 ohm/10 watt resistors(the big whit ones in the pic) as a load and a voltage divider (adjustable with that small pots) quite funny sounding on bass, but not linear at all.

i would use it to sum the 16 channels from the studiomaster console, bypassing it´s summing amp. and maybe the pultec inserted, nice idea :thumb:
any idea for the dual to use as a compressor?

could i use parts of the old grundig wheel for a micpre? (one channel of course).
