I was looking to click the "Love" button since I already "Like" Hairball Audio. I guess I will have to be happy with just "Like".  :D

Is the 8027-B VU Meter the same dimensions as a Sifam AL19b? If so I need 2 right now.

Thanks Mike for stocking hard to get parts and excellent service btw.  :)

John

EDIT: I found the blueprint for the Sifam and seems almost identical. So I guess I answered my own question. I'll place an order now. Thanks again!

Here's a big thanks to Mike and Hairball for providing us fellow DIYer with beautiful meters...

You ROCK!!!!

Hi All,

1166-500 output transformers are back in stock!  The introductory pricing period has ended and I've set their permanent price at $32.

Blue Stripe enclosures will be back in stock late Friday or early Saturday.

Thanks!

Hi All,

Blue Stripe enclosures are back in stock.

I've also added a smaller 600Ω T-pad to the stock.
http://hairballaudio.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=65

As Jeff from Classic API explained over in his thread, we've co-ordered a batch of these fearing we may not have the traditional t-pads for a month or so once our current stock runs out.  The good news is we'll have these and they are electronically the same just a little smaller and a result a little cheaper!

I think everything I sell is in stock!  Wow, been a while ;)

Mike,

I've sent you a couple of messages through your site. Have you received them?

Ilya

Yes.  I takes me a few days to answer general email.

I get a ridiculous amount of questions.  I answer urgent (order/shipping/payment) questions intimidate and general questions every few days.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Guys,

I've updated the BOM page to include all of the revisions:

Thanks,

Hi Guys,

A few things.

I've altered the "Kits and Bundles" page to be a little more streamlined on the back end.  This is allowing me to show my stock qty's for all products on the site now.  The bundle QTY is what ever the stock is for the lowest stock item.
http://hairballaudio.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22

I've also added a "Revision Guide" at the top of the page for people who get confused about the REV A, D, F and G thing.
http://www.hairballaudio.com/docs/revisions.pdf

I'll have more technical docs posted in the coming month.

Busy at Hairball!

Mike

Nice work Mike!

I really dig the revision guide. I know how time consuming that kind of stuff is.

True my friend.  I was inspired by your 49 page assembly mic-pre guide! That thing is amazing.

Ed added some finer details.

I'll probably be adding several small tech articles like "Power Transformer Hook-up", "Trim Pot Insertion" and things like that.  This will allow me to slowly add stuff over time.

Something fun I wanted to share.  These hoodies arrived today.  I'll bring a few to AES.
