Hi

I was looking for a reason to keep my e188cc tubes, as I am selling off some stuff and I came across this thread.

Am I right in thinking that the e188cc is used as a cascode for the line output?

I looked at the pics and it appears to be a White Cathode Follower, which explains the lack of output transformer  ;D

The only values I was able to see were 809 ohm for the top anode resistor and 470K for the grid bias resistor, with a 6K8 grid stop (bottom half).

The top half grid also has a grid stop.

I wonder if anyone else has any other photos of the first tube, which would be the voltage gain section?
