16 channel summing mixer simular to Chandler mini mixer

has anyone ever thought about starting a diy 16 channel summing mixer like the chandler unit I mentioned in topic. Main controls on each channel are level and pan with some metering to watch level peaks. Let me know if a such project exist and if not if anyone would like to colab on it

Mixers are such a personal thing so not that many projects exist. Generally, everybody wants their own options added it is impossible to do a project that would sell enough.
