I always wanted a floating studio! I float on some kind of boat or yatch since I was 4 so my life is on the water and is a big thing I miss when I'm inside a studio! this is particularly amazing... something smaller would be OK for me, just near an island and enjoy the river while working... would be nice!

I would be scared to put an expensive console over the water.  I have heard a halloween storie of a neve console under water.

Once the place where I was working get a looot of water inside, not enought to reach the desk but all wires, patch tie and some mics resting on a nice anvil on the floor get really wet, and it was far away the river...

Good mantainence on ships and some extra care would make it safe enought, I'd be more worry from roof water than river water and it's almost the same for building than a ship...
