Hello everybody !

i'm on tracing the schematic of a microphone
from L*a*n*g*e*v*i*n.

And there's a small TO-39 inside
with 3DJ7F inscribed on it

i can't find any information about this !!

what is it ???

thanks ! :thumb:

Hey, tu enchaînes les projets ambitieux ! Tu penses utiliser quoi comme capsule pour le Lαngεvιη ?
I love this name: « Lαngεvιη », it sounds so french. :green: It could be a cheese name?

:)

i have tested it with the Peluso CEK-367
sounds good, but after many tests and comparatifs
the modified L*a*n*g*e*v*i*n had less Low-End than the G7
or the TLM103.

i think i'll go to change some capacitors, listen how it sound
and perhaps change the capsule with another brand
or test it with the TLM103 capsule. The circuit of the L*a*n*g*e*v*i*n
seems to be better than the TLM.

:green: i'll name my mic, cheesy L*an*ge*vin :thumb:

Hi Jazzy,

There is no reason to mask names of manufacturers, like L*a*n*g*e*v*i*n.

It makes searching impossible, and we don't want to keep answering the same questions.

i don't know his function for now
i finished to trace the circuit later

and tell you more about that

thanks !

any other information about 3DJ7F ??

Sounds like a manufacturer's internal part number, unfortunately.

Is there any logo that might indicate the manufacturer?

Probably the best policy would be to get (or as you are doing, make) a circuit diagram and have us determine the likely characteristics based on how it is being used.

i see on another forum
than a user of a Rode, see the same 3DJ7F inside it.

i think it's a sort of FET transistor

the component is between a 1000 Styroflex (from the capsule)
and a 1G resistor... so it seems to be the place of a FET
i'm tracing the circuit now.

Any idea about the compatibility of different FET ?
what the characteristics of a FET ?? voltage ? gain ?

thanks
