make sure no "adapter PCB pin" has contact to the Haufe metal case.
cut them short, or put some tape on top before soldering the Haufe in.

Just wanted to let you know I'm really liking the Haufe ST8456s! They sound perfect in my Great River preamps.
I'll definitely order more when you have them in stock again! Please reserve at least two for me already  ;D
