Hi I know this is an old thread but was wondering if there is any more information available now.... I'm thinking a secondhand one would be something interesting to play with... As for the capsule I have a solid tube capsule here I might be killed for saying this but I like the sound of it .... I have a u87 and a nice violet VIN 67 capsule and a few other capsules to compare it too.... Was thinking of adding a 87i circuit with its small transformer don't know how much room there is in the 214 but I wouldn't be using a paint by numbers circuit board
