I think we discussed driving the diode ladders differentially above (example: "Siemens U273 [..] albeit with a different bridge arrangement" in #56 (and before).
So, for example, an expensive DRV134 preceded by scale-down buffer, or just an extra cheap transistor for inverting CV, I assume.
And sorry, I had actually posted in the wrong thread. Was referring to "Dual Compressor (diode varimu)" thread, with schematics showing a U3A -- for what I called 'balancing', probably erraneously -- to
"keep the DC voltage at U1 outputs at the same potential as the junction (of the diodes)".
I think that is a different approach (?), maybe even better, as it does not drive the diode ladders differentially, but 'evens out" CV potential directly at the diode/line junction, where it matters more ?
