Anyone familiar with the MPC2500? I get note cut offs

I'm a total mpc noob, just started learning. Anyways.
I record a track, and play it back, and everything sounds good.
I create a new track and record on it, and whenever there is a sound at track 2, track 1 mutes.
There ain't no group mutes going on. What could be the problem? :?
This is a MPC helpforum right? :green: :guinness:

I don't have a mpc2500 but an mpc60 so not sure this applies, but did you record audio or midi.
If it's midi maybe your soundsource is set to mono-mode? only one note at the time? check by giving each track a different midi-channel and playback to seperate synths/samplers etc..

I've spent allot of time on MPC's.. you will have to parden me an little I own a 4k, had a 2K and 2KXL but nothing with the 1K, 2.5K and 5K the 4000 just flat works.

Is this a midi track or drum track?

You did RTM?
