Thanks for that - just got a Gen 1 on ebay for ten bucks; that's exactly the capsule I expected find in there.

Interesting - there are a lot of transistors in there.

Looks like the only functional change was going from a capsule with built-in FET to one without.

Nice to see an actual dome beneath the capsule, though. Reminiscent of the AT3035, etc.
