elma 04 switch torque spring change

Hi all,

for a project I bought some elma series04 24pos switches that require a lot of power to turn them, especially with rather small knobs in my case. i have only found out now, that there exist different models with different torque and mine seem to have high torque unfortunately.
I also found some video on youtube where someone explains how to change the torque by replacing some springs in the switch.



Does anyone know where I can get ahold of such fitting springs? Thank you.

thank you, I will try to contact elma (eu). maybe with some switches the 100€ minimums should be easy to reach.

Yeah that’s what I did...I ended up buying a couple to have around when I neede ~$12 worth of knobs..

I have got a tip from don-audio, where I bought the switches, to just remove one of the springs.
