M49 and C12 bodies with shock-mounts! 8)

These bodies are very similar in size and shape to the real deals!!
and no the C12 is definitely not an Apex 460 variant! Also the build quality is very good considering the price!

Both bodies are made to be used with Binder type sockets which are not  included.

M49 =Binder 691 connector (part # 09-0043-00-07)

C12= Series 623: Male receptacle, center mounted, PG 13.5 fixing thread
Part # 99 4603 20 09

The price per body is $160 USD  for C12 and $180.00 USD for the M49. Both come with a heavy duty shock mount.
$20.00 USD Australia New Zealand  USA Europe would be around $30.00 USD standard or $43.00 insured with tracking. These are made in china and will be ready in around 60-70 days from when we place the official order.

So totals body plus shipping would be

C12  insured with tracking  $203.00  or with paypal fee $209.37
49    insured with tracking  $223.00  or with paypal fee $$229.97



C12 no insurance or tracking  $190.00  or with paypal fee $195.98

Can you please post some more pictures? Maybe from the inside and bottom? And without the shockmounts?
And what "Binder type socket" do you exactly mean? Those M25 connectors or smaller ones?

Could be a cost-effective alternative.
More expensive than other Chinese bodies, though.
Also, there are two members in the middle of developing M49 bodies as we speak. Well, in any case our other Australian friend is well on his way, after "feeling" for member interest. Those bodies will be bulletproof and in a different league of course, so they prolly won't bite each other. Well, at least I hope a cheaper alternative won't nip Ben's initiative in the bud.

One day one China supplier contacted me offering these bodies. However I saw different pictures showing different quality. These are empty Bodies with no internal structure. Also you have a strange price,  because he offered M49 a way way cheapier. I started to doubt what you can get for such price.  Only brass parts to make cost me a lot more than their offer, but of course as for budget body it should be great.

To all questioning build quality these are just as good/bad(depending which way you look at it as the Apex 460 types and are made of the same grade materials which are very good at this price point!

Re: C12 I'm working on the internals with respect to mounting options and will possibly offer two point to point options.
one on rings like the original and one on a single acrylic board.

I'll get some pics up shortly but Internally it looks pretty similar to the AKG c12 Vr and Lucas body.
  I'm thinking to redesign the guts to be more like the original.
