Hi all,
I have a Sennheiser MD422 that got knocked out off it's position as a Tom mic by a wayward drummer (which would be me.....), and has never worked since. It's been sitting in my closet for a couple of years now as I never seem to have spare time to fix it.
I've attached some pics.
The tops seems to come off ok, and I can't see any broken wires or anything obvious, but getting into the rest of the mic seems a real mission.
Where do I start.? I've never tried to fix a dynamic mic before. I've built heaps of diy projects, but never repaired a dynamic mic.
