The thing says "220 VAC 50Hz" in the back... Check to make sure there's no power transformer or rectifier (or both) hooked up to those screws inside the box.

Peace,
Al.

:thumb:

thanks, i'm tired today
tomorrow i send a lot of pictures of the inside
and we analyse them together.

PS : audio synthese is just a sticker not the brand
the brand is definitively Plus Trente.

it seems to be that the desk has been reboxed.

Well, well, well...
Nice "random" acquisition !

Power supply : As previously said, you need to check if there is one (or more) transformer inside the box. There is necessary one access to powering this desk, directly with 220V~ or with an external DC power supply.

You can take this desk with you and come to my home, I can see all that (15 min between your home and mine)...

In first pictures, I can see some classic 741 are employed. You can replace them by TL071 or TL081 (and why not with NE5534... ).

HS :
Exam passed with succes... Fine !

Hi Chimimic !!

thanks, no transformer inside
i'm sure now.

I bring a channel and the master section with me sunday
because i can put the desk only in my trunk
and it's a heavy desk.

the gain stage seems to be very simple
the only thing i can't schematic is the opamp
i know nothing about opamp.

As already done in the past with others old preamps, I can do some tests and measures on one input module. If you can bring an "isolated" input module, I'll do that with pleasure !

man, I once worked on a neotek series one console that had the buss rails soldered through the cards like that, man, hope you never have to undo that, worst job ever!

cool find though.

Wow awesome find! Some people have all the luck...

I found the leaf debris on the top of the console quite amusing!

+15,0,-15 PSU for one channel ?

i have a classik (non-toroidal) 220v-15v 3,2VA
it's good i think ?

the preamp+eq schematic is on the way

Chimimic > Oui très bien dormi

A good Hi Fi preamp was built using 709s IIRC. I believe it was a Hegeman Hapi One.

The 709 like the 301 can sound very good if used correctly like the 553X just because it is old does not mean it not good. Changing the 741 might be a good thing to do
