French reply of Pierre Antonini

Bonjour,

Cordialement

Pierre Antonini

the original PSU was +18 and -18

Hello,

Yes it is well me, but I cannot be to you of a great help because I have left the profession for 8 years and I currently live in Montreal. I do not have any more the schematics of the console.
For the PSU, the PSU of origin was + and - 18 volts but you can use a PSU of + and - 15 volts. You will have in this case a little less dynamics (the level max of exit is fonction of the PSU, the maximum for the integrated circuits being of 18V).

Cordially

Pierre Antonini

it's help ?

I just remembered I have a small PCB for a LM317/337 powersupply. Do you want it?

This is the layout:

I'm very sorry, but my e-mail software does not allow attaching physical objects. Perhaps I need Windows for that?

Just send me your address, and I'll send you the board

Dear Jazzy,

all transformers I shown are LF transformers, not power transformers. Some are for mic, and other for line applications.

Let me know if you want LM317 / LM337 pair, I can give you one of them, with additionnal components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, led).
If you have not yet, of course ! :green:

And perhaps an all made +/-15V power supply, to allow you test more quickly your isolated input module...

Hé hé.

exactly

but how to just use the preamp + eq

i wanna make few racks with the amp, eq, limiter
from the master & VU

but i ignore how to use the output at this point.

PS : i don't understand the low-cut ?

PS2 : !!!! i have forget a 2N 708..... !!!!

The low cut is on when only one (small) coupling capacitor is switched in. When both caps are connected (in parallel) the low cut is off.

i have update some errors
and add some values.

there's no line input on my schematic
i have made like the pushbutton always stay on "mic" position
but i don't know if have think of all the consequence
of this missing switch & missing components.

so if you see something strange tell me, i don't
understand the real fonctions of the schematic and
can't verify by myself only.

Dear Jazzy,

Your schematic looks fine, but the outlined section ("for line input") seems strange for me. Are you sure of this wiring ? Do you have a clip indicator on your desk ? If yes, I think this circuit can be used to light the clip led (possible if 10uF cap is wired between Base transistor and ground, and if led is connected between Collector and V+). Basic circuit if this is the case, but certainly enought.

I'm not at all sure to be right !

Can you verify wiring of this circuit portion and tell us more ?
Thanks.

Remy
