I go by dJ, I am in the PNW US. I am an amateur musician and an electronics hobbyist novice with a rapidly, broadening and simultaneously shrinking, understanding of electronics and signal processing.
I am here to learn as much as I can and hopefully contribute in as positive a way as is possible.
My typical setup for music production and all that is a presonus 96, opr a tascam 08x16, I have 8" active monitors from around 2011.
I have designed some pcbs and had pcbs printed, as well as some guitar pedal kits. I am currently honing some designs for an active ribbon mic, a tube mic, and modding a solid state preamp of djjules design I found on instructibles. I have put together several of the OPA Alice mic and have been very satisfied.
My first project with electronics was a ts808 clone from guitarpcb.
