Help Needed with NT1a Microphone Repair!

I'm facing a tricky issue with my NT1a microphone and would really appreciate some guidance or tips from anyone here who might have experienced something similar.

My NT1a microphone isn’t producing any sound. However, when I expose it to sunlight, it starts working again but only lasts about four to five minutes before the sound cuts out.

Based on some Googling, it seems to be a moisture issue inside the mic. Does this sound right to anyone? Has anyone dealt with this type of problem before and successfully fixed it?


I'm also considering using a replacement capsule, specifically the TZT CK12 style or Baifeli K87 capsules I saw on AliExpress. Does anyone have experience with these or other aftermarket capsules? Are they reliable and do they match the quality of the original parts?

Do you have any other capsules you could temporarily install into / connect to the circuitry?

What voltage can you measure between ground and that exposed via ("before" that 4.7meg resistor)?
