He is definitely responsible for the situation, many people are dying and many will die also due to his continuous wrong and ridiculous decisions concerning Covid-19

I loved when my Lovely President, gave McDonald a taste of his own handshake and pushed him.

In Portugal everyone Loves our present President, quite a different situation than the US

I think the majority of people's opinions come from mis interpretation.

Looks like some wives are starting to be proactive about this...

As an outsider, I just had to ask where the unhappiness stems from. It seems difficult to square the purported desire for democracy to flourish with the attitudes I see from posters here. I've removed myself from social media in the last year for the same reason, and I always hoped that GroupDIY would never get so bad.

Before anyone makes unnecessary assumptions, I'm equally disappointed in the posts from the left and the right. We all have deep feelings, and they're all equally valid. I don't get the sense that this point of view is the guiding principle of these discussions. There is a phrase that we use in my house—"The moment you can justify to yourself that anyone is beneath you, you've denied that they are human." Political leanings, nationality, race, religion, accents, or myriad other manifestations of humanity are no reason to so adamantly denigrate others—nor is there ever a justification for flippant talk and goading, even if someone in a place of power did so first.

Looking at this subforum in the last two weeks has given me a fear of my fellow man that I am certain I never felt before, and I can assure you that is something that should give us pause long before we claim a greater fear from a national election.

In truth and love, Cody.

What if you live in an apartment and you are on there second or third floor and people are really beneath you?
Sorry A little levity is good, even if it poorly executed...

That guy is prepared for all the dangers and wars that will come upon you because you elected Bidon,
JR told about this in a previous post, be warned and prepare yourself also.
He is prepared for Iran, North Korea and the Chinese

If Iran acquires nuclear weapons that won't be boring. North Korea returning to its pre-Trump bellicose posture will not be boring. Reversing the middle east peace agreements will not be boring.

I dont mean to 'red rag' anybody here but aside from the odd time things get personal I think we do a fair job of getting our point of view across in a reasonably diplomatic and intelligent fashion .

Even the best of friends will on occasion disagree entirely , friendship (especially with people from a different backround) Ive found is more about looking for common ground ,dwelling on the differences all the time is like fighting talk in the school yard, sooner or later a punch gets landed and the warring parties retreat to a safe distance ,  online doesnt have that same fuse/cut out mechanism built in  :D

I totally agree with you, this thread started as a celebration thread but people are of course free to came here to Dwell on the differences that were already discussed all the time in countless of threads.
And people came

So it's better just take it light, have fun and have some humor

Tbh, it's difficult to find much to celebrate. Not because someone as polarizing as trump hasn't been re-elected, but because much of the internet has become just like him.

remember, nobody forces you to read this stuff.

and it is the brewery.

so it works like this.

the lab:  "what should my bias voltage be for a 12ax7a?"

the brewery> "rump needs to grow a pair and pack his shit up!"

got it?  :D

Word of the day:

'Catchfart' (17th century): one who slavishly follows behind their boss and who blows with the political wind.

I should be nicer to Alabama than I am, but when their Senator-elect say this, it makes it hard:

"You know, our government wasn’t set up for one group to have all three of branches of government. It wasn’t set up that way, our three branches, the House, the Senate and executive."

He also noted that his father served in WWII, “liberating Paris from socialism and communism.”

Oh, goodness.

I think it was his grandfather he mentioned as fighting to beat socialism and communism.
But to be fair, he didn't say which side his grandfather was serving on so...  ;)
