IC marked A10 601 JRC question

Reversing a microphone I found a SOP8 chip marked.
A10 601 JRC
Pins out somewhat like a LDO regulator that I found at the JRC site and the parts around it make sense as a regulator.

Now  I have not found anything with searching for the markings on the IC.
Anyone have an idea why I am not able to find a link from searching for the markings?
The only thing I can think of is that it might be custom marked/made for the company using it.

It is a MXL 190 I bought for the body and when I checked it out the circuit was different than other MXL etc. circuits I have seen.
Nice rail to rail opamp, clever use of an internal foam windscreen.

that was the only thing I could find with 601 on the Jrc website.
