In a few Days

In 10 days we will have completed a most interesting year...software was cheap, death rate was high. American democracy was compromised, we were hacked. In 2021 we will fashion a new way of life, for surely nothing can be the same!

If it were not for the fact it was given a title and reported on to no end, it would be like any other year.
People die all the time from all kinds of things.  Our elections are not so secure when the outcome is different then desired.  We were hacked, we have been before.

“Same as it ever was, same as it ever was”
But onward an upward for the living if you were lucky to make it to have one more trip
Around the sun.
As the year ends and another approaches. Be well, be safe and keep on keeping on. It’s all we can do.

Also to recap-- for a great many, 2020 appears to have been about maximising polarity.

Regarding political discussion, everyone wants their opponents to understand them, but few want to truly understand their opponents enough to risk changes in self-identity.

Therefore my 2021 mantra will be:  "peace precedes position"
