He has several LDC's : A couple of flavors of K67's, a K47, K87..they all sound great.

By now they are fully in work in studio. Very nice mics raw and a bit pushed/produced, nothing harsh there.  I use it on mandolins, drums, guitars, quena and they serves me well. Happy!

Ooo, that's super cool. A hypercardioid capsule would be a nice addition to the Banzai/Maiku KM84 project.
Am I correct in thinking the Guosheng 3U capsules will fit?

Edit: this post makes me think they'd be compatible with MXL, possibly 3U as well.

Generic Chinese MXL types: Those will screw on the bodies no problem.

The 3U capsules that fit the Bansai KM84 project mics is the .5mm ones. He lists it as mm5.
Major improvement over the capsules supplied with the kits.
